Price tag with a case,windows and config: $1300

Couple questions for yall:

A. As far as i know i'd gain a performance increase from the 6 to 4 core cpu because the clock is slightly higher as games wont ever use six cores in the foreseeable future, correct?

B. Will this amd CPU work natively with 1600mhz ram or will there me some monkeying around to get it going?

The 4 cores will give you better gaming performance since its clock speed is higher. And the ram should work just fine as long as your motherboard supports that speed...however, I can't seem to be able to load the website that it links to, so I cannot be sure.
