Default AMD equivalent?

What would be the AMD equivalent of the Intel P4 2.4 Northwood? Just curious because I plan on building a new PC sometime in the near future with an AMD CPU.

The price of those processors has gone up because they don't make 'em anymore. It's more cost effective to get a s754 sempron 64.
