Yes, the rumours were on the inq. Apparently, Intel were toying with the idea of buying either ATi or nV. Then they decided otherwise, and to design their own discrete graphics solution, codenamed 'Larabee'.

yeah but they (integrated graphics) still suck from a gamers standpoint. they run word and IE real good though.
but the structure for sure they have mastered. if they can juice it up a little, a winner all around for low-cost buyers.
i wonder how larabee will turn out?
