I am getting a used Corsair VX450W powersupply for about $30 but the dude says not all the power connectors work properly. Can I buy power connectors separately ? Is this a good power supply?

The one I listed is full ATX, mate.

OP: That PSU should be fine, just not much room for upgrading later on down the pike.

Not really, there's converters, like molex to SATA or PCI-E, but other than that, I don't think so.

A used one for $30 with "some of the power cables don't work" doesn't sound too safe! Spend the extra bucks to get something you know works.

It's all gravy sauce. The vx450 is a fine PSU though. You might want to get something with more power for future upgrades though.
