TechConnect Magazine - AMD 45nm Phenoms on track for H2 2008

It seems that 45nm Phenom will be out on Q4 2008 for the AM2+ platform. It is going to have more L3 cache, and AMD claims that this processor consume less power than the current 65nm

Intel Nehalem will be out on Q4 2008 as well

EDIT: The AM3 version of 45nm phenom will be out on the first half of 2009

well i think AM3 requires DDR3 RAM

Sweet, if those suckers can hit 3.5ghz......ill throw one into my current am2 board, since ive got the updated bios that supports phenoms.

AM3, AM2+ and AM2 are all backward compatible, and you still can run these on ddr2

ill get my 9900 n not have to wait anymore. I'm still waiting to see if i get a paycheck friday so i can get the HD 3870 x2.
