Default AMD 3200+ vs AMD 3700+

Im trying to build my Computer and I currently have a AMD 3200+. My plan is to get a PCI express Motherboard, 7950GT, and a AMD 3700+. I have 500 dolalrs to spend and after all that i am broke.

My question is: Is there a big difference in these chips?

Or better yet If you had to choose between upgrading from a 3200+ to a 3700+ or get another 1GB of ram what would you do?

Not that big of a difference, at least both at stock configurations. I would opt for the gig over the 3700+, too.
