hey guys.
so one of the computers at my work, the retention holder broke. you know where the heat sink clips in, it wont anymore. this is the mother board. Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!.
and the black thing where the heat sink sits is the one that's broken. they want me to replace it. is it possible to replace it, and if it is, will this work? Newegg.com - EVERCOOL K8-AM2-RM AMD K8 Socket AM2 Retention Holder - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
if it wont, any suggestions on which one to use. do i have to unscrew the entire motherboard and replace the back plate, or can i just use the new plastic thing and screw it on the old plate.
