I want something very reliable w/ ddr2, pcie video, sata raid.

Budget: $75

I want the best bang for the buck am2 wise.

The build looks something like this:

Generic black case w/ 500watt psu
a64 x2 5200+ 2x1mb L2
2gb (2x1gb) G.Skill
Nvidia 7300gt (business pc, not gaming)
WD 2x250gb sata w/ 16 mb cache
Windows Vista Business
20" Dell flat screen
Wireless peripherals

I was looking at a gigabyte board, but I figured I'd ask you guys before I get it.

That MSI K9VGM-V you guys linked to looks really good as far as the reviews go, and it's well under budget. Looks like we have a winner. Thanks!

Both of those look good too... hmm... I've got to order this thing tomorrow, now I have some options. I also have to build a budget server, and that last board looks like it has a really nice raid controller onboard (for the money at least).

Thanks again for your suggestions!

Haven't ordered everything yet... This is what I have slated. It's already cut down somewhat from what I had originally in mind.

MSI K9VGM-V: $51.99
EVGA 7600GS 256mb: $91.99
Athlon64 x2 5200+ : 239.00
G.Skill 2gb (2x1gb) pc4200: $139.99
Seagate 320gb 7200rpm: $99.99
NEC 19" 4ms LCD: $279.99
Lite-On cd/dvd rw: $31.99
Vista Business: $149.99
MSI Turbo G Wireless card: $17.99
Antec LifeStyle SONATA II w/ 450watt psu: $99.99
Logitech Cordless Mouse/Keyboard: $29.99

TOTAL: $1232.90

I'd like to get it under $1000 if possible, but since it needs to handle Vista as well as engineering design apps like autocad on a 24/7 basis, I'm not sure if going with cheaper components would be the right thing to do. Any ideas to get the cost down is appreciated, but keep in mind it needs to be 100% reliable. :)
