Definatly sounds like a good idea.

ONly problem is WHEN this software will be released, and will current AM2 chips support it? Also something tells me Vista would recive the windows update, since XP is in the process of dying atm. Have'nt had any new Criticel updates for a while

Also, the question about price.

i'm pretty sure the site is full of crap. we also have like a 6 page debate on this rumour in this forum section. conroe still seems to be the way to go but how about waiting to see given NEITHER are out yet

yeah honestly guys, from the stuff i seen on XS i think conroe is good, but we havent seen actual results of the AM2, so yeah, i still have faith, although minimal, in AM2.

I beleive AM2 is avaliabel in USA as you can custom build an AM2 machine from this site

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

but i dont know if you have to wait before it can be shipped

This has been posted. I see that it will get a good lead in single threaded programs, but what about multithreaded programs?
