Thanks in large part to this forum and some good advice, I now have everything I need to construct a new rig to replace my old Compaq 6020US (Athlon XP 1900, 1G of something Ram, 9600XT).
The details are below in my sig. Before you slam me on my PSU and my RAM keep in mind I'm not able to get some things where I live. Yes, I would have done Crucial. What's available here, it was between G.Skill HZ's at 180 or Corsairs at 110 - you can see who won. Ram is expensive for some reason in HK. THe power supply was probably one of my harder decisions. All they have here is Antec, 2theMax, GTR, Coolermaster and Acbel. for those interested here is the Acbel I got... http://www.acbel.com/PDF/P_PC/R8_PS2_607W.pdf ... any comments on it are welcome. I'm pretty certain it'll fulfill my overclocking needs. It's going to take me a few days to finish (weekend). Just wanted to say thank you to all.
