Default Alky Project's DX10

Has anyone tried Alky Project's DX10 for windows xp? I have a feeling that it might not even be worth it, and create more problems than it'd fix

go with your assertion and don't bother...unless you are really bored

for your reading pleasure:

read all the comments...and don't bother yourself with it

further digging....seems the people who started it didn't bother anymore either:

it makes it look similar to directX10 graphics w/o running as crappy as dx10

it'll be a big hit compared to regular high settings, but no where near as bad as very high on dx10

I run it all on high as well. Can anybody help link me to where they may have gotten it? I'm having trouble finding it

This is the thread.
Advanced Crysis Tweaking

It does look slightly better than just High settings.
But it will NOT I repeat, WILL not improve frame rates.

it'll just simply look similar to dx10, without the large hit.. as i've already said

lots of people have been having troubles understanding that...
