why don't you just move your ram?

you're running your ram in single channel right now anyway, but the slots are color coded to indicate where sets of 2 should be installed.

you should install them in either both the blue slots, or both the black slots when using 2 sticks.

seeing as you're having clearance issues, i'd suggest you put 'em in the black slots.

Muffin Man, Sometimes like with my board in order to be in Dual channel with 2 sticks it requires using one of the colors, not interchangeable. I do agree its one or the other color though.
