well i just realised insted of up gradin my dell i should have sold it, and the moey for that and the upgrades would have been eneugh for some awsome dual core set up.....im so cheesed

here is what stated with:

dell 4550
2.8ghz northwood
120gb hdd
dvd, cd rw drives
ati radeon 9700/9500 pro 128mb
512mb ram
250w dell psu
dell mobo, case ect

well had i parted it out i could have old it on ebay for nearly 300pounds

instaed i sold the mobo, case, psu, ram for 100pounds, and replace it with:
asus p4p800se
1gb geil ram
antec case+550w psu
10k 74gb hdd......costing 330 pounds

so had i not bought those upgrades and just sold the dell id have 630 pounds, im so annoyed

say what do you think my current system is worth, sold as is or parted out? current specs are:

1gb geil ram
antec case+550w psu
10k 74gb hdd
2.8ghz northwood
120gb hdd

I'd say ~550 bucks. I dont think you should have gotten that 10k drive, just not worth it.

yea i think they,...well yea they probly are a bit of a waste, i think just a decent 7.2k hdd is good eneugh
