agp voltage 2 high

my friends agp voltage has gone up to 2.45, or something ridiculous and he cant turn it back down, it is only at this voltage with his 6600gt in the system, if he uses an older agp card, its fine.

hes been away for a week, and his lil brother said he was just playing counterstrike source when it screwed up.

dont think his card is stuffed, well it shouldnt be as he only got it back from the company the other week.

any ideas? im stumped

yeh i know it sounds like a user error, but his little bro wouldnt even know how to get into bios if his life depended on it, reckon the card is faulty? it is an expertvision......

...I think he was referring to me...Embedded an image in my previous post which was protected by a .htaccess hotlink protection...so it either produced a bogus or broken image.

...I've since, erm...'corrected' the error .
