Exclamation AGP toooooooo expensive

Why is AGP so expensive nowadays I thought with everyone moving to PCI-e AGP prices would wall dramatically but as it turns out a 7800gs or 7600 gs for agp runs up in the high $300's sometimes even $400 in the case of the 7800gs+ $500+, my GF whas an agp system she doent game a lot but she does game a little, ROL,EE,GTA,BFME2 stuff like that but she has an fx-5500 and needs an upgrade I am just writing thisin disgust to the extremly absurd AGP prices

Low- and mid-range AGP cards are very cheap. It's only the high-end cards that are expensive, and it's logical, since demand for those is very low (most people buying high-end have PCIe).
