i have a 6600gt, it runs BF2, Quake 4, CS-S really nice. But FEAR will eat your video card's babies, but i havnt tried it.

should i get a 256mb or a 128 mb?? is there gonna be a difference if i get a 256 instead of a 128??

not really, last time i saw a direct comparison between 128mb and 256mb models there was a difference of like 3 fps. It may become more noticible in the future with new games i dont think its worth the extra money.

and i have a agpx4 can i still use cards that have agp x8??

Most cards are compatible with AGP 4x and 8x but I would check it out before you assume it does and then when you get it, you find out it doesn't like I did
