I believe Socket 1207 is for their server line-up. It is also called Socket F. Theres also another Socket F for their Quad FX (4x4) platform, which is dual socket. I think it has another name....Socket L.

LOL....even with all the new CPUs coming out...i think i will be sticking with my s939 opteron 165 for a while and just upgrade my 7900GS to an 8800series card....I love s939

im thinking it will be comprable to c2ds current pricing.
they are trying to play catch up right now...i dont think they will be insanely priced. unless they have insane performance, which may be the case, fo sho.

Im not a fan of either company, i just hope these are good and competitively priced, i love intense corporate competititon, keeps my wallet heavy and my computer stacked.
