Ageia physX card worth it?

is the Ageia physX card good? i've heard about it and everything but is it worth getting? Does it only apply to programs designed to use it or does it help process with everything graphical?

No, it just works with PhysX games, which are few and far between.

Only games designed with the PhysX card will support it, and theres very few that will or do.

Besides, the 8 series as well as the future series, have a physics engine built right into it.

if i were to get a 8800GTS and install it onto a system running XP MCE it'd work just fine, i just couldn't utilize Dx10 right?

anyways.... dx 10 is also available on XP, theres a warez group hacking it, but most ppl are under the theory that it won't be as great as DX 10 graphics on Vista (thats my opinion too) also Quantum effects is build into 8 series cards (including low-end ones) Quantum Effects Technology

Thought so, never know with the stupid Dx crap and compatibility makes me kinda mad that only vista will use Dx10.. and i don't like vista too much
