I can see why you went for that, but if i remember correctly, the timings are bad on them. Ring up MSY and ask if that kit they have is 7-7-7 or 8-8-8... if it is... ask about the ones i recommended. They should be 5-5-5.

He is talking about the timings on the ram, usually they put 4 numbers that represent its timings, 4-4-4-12 for example or 5-5-5-15.

Don't bump your thread unless nobody has posted for atleast 24 hours, we will get to it as soon as we can.

It is totally dependent on your chip for how high it can OC. I think it would be fair to say you could get atleast 3.6 out of that (I am not too familiar with the E8*** series when it comes to OC'ing). It also depends on how well that zalman 9700 does in cooling

From what I've seen the e8400 overclock to around 4.0ghz before needing to exceed intel recommended voltage. But of course your results may vary.

I know how far the e8400 can OC to but with my cooling how far will it be able to OC on stable?
