I have a budget of maximum £800 (around $1500) and would like to reuse as much of my current pc as possible, so I can spend more on graphics card, processor and stuff.

Current comp:

CPU - AMD Athlon XP 2000+
Motherboard - MSI MS-6382
RAM - 512 mb
HD - seagate u series 80020 (80gb)
Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420

I don't know my psu or sound card =s

I know for sure I need a new processor, graphics card, ram and power supply, but I don't know what to get. Or if the new hardware would be compatible with the older mobo and hard drive. I want to save money by keeping my monitor and all stuff, and the cd and dvd drives.

I'd like to use the comp for gaming. I can't wait any longer to play Oblivion, and others, basically.

And while I'm posting, anyone know the best site to order hardware from for the UK? **** newegg not delivering here.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

I would look at scan, komplett, and overclockers... although the last one is a bit over priced in some things...

Oh, and unless you want ot get an upgrade to a dated system, you will need a whole new system if you wish to have something new. I'm pretty sure the PSU will not erven be able to be used... about the onle things I think you could use are the optical(s), and hard drive, monitor, KB/M
