Ive decided to finally get a new computer, and ive decided to keep some things and buy the rest new
What im keeping is:

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BWA (just bought)
seagate 750gb s300 16mb (just bought)
samsung 200gb 8mb (boot hdd)
samsung dvd-rw
samsung dvd-rom
generic fdd

and so far i have picked out the following to buy:

Intel conroe core 2 duo e6600
Hiper Type-R 580Watt Power Supply
Asus p5w dh deluxe motherboard
2GB Geil PC6400 800MHz CAS 4-4-4-12 (2x1GB)
Zalman CNPS9500 Heatsink and Fan

i havent added a graphics card on because im not much of a gamer or video editing, i have an old x700 atm but i wanted to get a good one but bearing in mind i wont be playing it for game intensity. Also
thinking about buying a raptor or maybe just a small 80gb sata hdd??

But i would like to not upgrade this new rig for at least a 1/2 years!

P.S I will be o/c this pc but not were i need more than air cooled!

So if anyone can advise is this is good/bad with better items, it would be very much appreciated, and thanks in advance:p

Hey there, Wigan is a good football team =D, but Chelsea all the way.

anyways thats a good list, and if you aren't gaming then i can't think of any better parts, and on the subject of the hard drives, you could get either and it would be fine, if you want faster access times then go with the raptor, if u want some extra storage without paying a premium then go with the 80 gig

i dont think you gave a budget on the video card so ill just post some of various budgets

7300gt (make sure its gddr3) for about ~$40 gbp

x1650xt for about ~$76 gpb

sorry no links because im not familiar with England's computer sites

have fun and good luck!
