Acer 24 inch Monitor or Samsung 226BW

i have the 226bw, and it is AMAZING. I suggest it over the acer

it depends which acer.. the model i have is 3000:1 contrast.. 2ms response time and has HDMI

and isnt that samsung a 22 inch?? 24>22 because of 1920x1200

From reviews and comments, the 226BW is an outstanding monitor.

However... 24 inches is better than 22. Depending on the stats, the Acer could easily be a better choice.

good point. id go with the acer just for the 1920x1200.
if your going to compare it with the samsung 245b id pick that.

i'm madly in love w/ my acer monitor.... 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio is amazing.. colors are very vibrant and what can you oppose at 24 inches!!!

but again.. depends on the model of acer.. there is a 24 inch that is only something like 700:1 ratio

and not to mention my monitor has several color option profiles.. and even customizable profiles

I have my acer set to 0 brightness because its so freaking bright. One thing to remember is that 1920x1200 requires a lot more graphics power than 1680x1050.

Nah i have the x241w. Just DVI and VGA inputs. I had no use for a hdmi input on the monitor.

NO USE FOR DVI!!!! WHAT!!! dvi makes a huge difference in color quality!!! i advice you get a dvi cable!!!!
