I hear folding all the time and it confuses me :]

This threads great since there's so much great feedback, when I get a card I'm going 4870

What kind of power supply does it need (considering if he has a stock)

600watts should suffice
I got 700 watts for mine

You'll be able to run a 4870 off a good quality 450W PSU

its my dedicated folding system, i dont run them in SLI.

But yes, 8800GT SLI re pretty powerful, not quite a GTX 260 but up there.
