9800GTX or 9600GT SLI?

Umm.. actually they are releasing their cards slow... The 9900gtx would be out sooner it seems but they are waiting for the 4xxx series it seems from ATI...

Nvidia is dominating.

True but if you do that then by the time something new comes out you'll have yourself a new reason to wait and you'll end up with nothing.

dude, keep your GTS640

The 9800GTX is completely out of the question - it's a pure POS. The 9900GTX, from what I've heard, will still be based on G92 (G92b to be exact) so that's out of the question too, 9600GT.. SLI.. meh, skip on that as well

I say wait for the GT200 cards or ATI's 4xxx series, I think you'll be dissapointed coming from a GTS640 to a 9800GTX or even the 9600GT in SLI, ESPECIALLY if you're gaming at 1680x1050
