9800gtx or 8800gt

The gtx is 10.5 inches long, has MUCH better memory and overclockign headroom and a dual slot cooler. Those are the differences between it and the GT. Having had both, yes its worth it at 1920x1200.

Also, toms uses canned benchmarks, read up on the hardforum for their reviews, they actually use realtime game play to test their cards.

Hmm, another thing im taking into consideration is I dont have any games that i think would be that much better on 9800gtx than 8800gt in terms of playable framerates. I think the next game im looking at is far cry 2.
The $140 pricetag is just so enticing.
This 8800gt has a dual-slot cooler.

the 9800gtx (evga) and 4850 are about the same price now, and the 9800gtx performs better.
