I just got an ATI Radion 9800 XT, and I am planning on overclocking it. It says that my idle temperature is 73 degrees. Is this normal? what are safe temperatures to stay in?
I have the same card and in the catalyst window temp thing i'm mid 50s idle so i think you are a little high. I have no clue on the "safe" range of temps though. I removed the plastic sheild and have a fancard blowing on the video card.
