have not updated vid card yet but what do yall think about 2 9600gt in sli vs a single 8800gts (G92)

or what about a 8800gs in sli

Get the 9600gt's...

If your using a monitor bigger than 20-22" then definitely get the 512mb versions, otherwise the sli 256mb will be fine.

I faced this same delimma and eventually went with the 8800gts, saved a few bucks and less to go wrong.

That and the option for another 8800gts down the road when they get even cheaper is always an option.

well the 8800gt and gs both have more stream processors than the 9600gt but do stream processors really matter?? i game on a 20 in LCD

just get the 8800gts 512mb and youll be fine.
What kind of games do you play anyways?

cod4 and such mostly FPS will try to play crysis demo. want to be able to play mass effect when it comes out end of this month. 8800gts enh i look at it

well the 8800gts, and later when the price drops u cud get them in sli...
iI know that the 9600gt scale amazing in sli...but i still try avoiding the hassle of dealing with sli
