Default 9600GS for $60

NCIX.com - Buy EVGA E-GEFORCE 9600GSO 650MHZ 512MB 1.8GHZ DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV Out Video Card - 512-P3-N963-TR In Canada.

Looks like a decent deal to me. Should I go pick it up?

That's the super crippled one with only 48 shaders, don't even consider it.. either get the GDDR3 384MB or GDDR3 768MB

Anything from Nvidia with GS on the end is their stripped down low end model. That's not a very good one at all.

For comparison the 4830 at stock is a little better then a 9800gt.

Don't get that card.

Yep, grab 4830 for sure, 9600gso (which is 8800gs) were not bad cards, but the 4830 is superior in terms of price performance.
