He needs a monitor too, doesn't he? Maybe I misread...

Here's my system. I did the whole thing for $728

Case: Antec Super LanBoy
Power Supply: Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W
Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4-F
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Video Card: EVGA GeForce 6800 GS
Memory: OCZ Value Series 1GB
Hard Drive: Hitachi 80GB
Optical Drive: Lite-On DVD-ROM
Floppy Drive: Mitsumi 3.44MB
Operating System: Windows XP Home OEM

Do something like mine? w/ a $100 CRT monitor.

Dell?

At dell.com they have a refurbished section called dell outlet. I brought my computer and saw they still had more, Here are the specs.

(3.4ghz w/HT)
(512mb ram)
(80 Gig Hard Drive)
(Radeon x300 graphics)
(Floppy)
(2 drives: dvd dual layer burner+dvd cd-rom)
(Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Sound Card)
(Alot of software)

All for $800 shipped to Hawaii overnight and with 4 year accidental full warranty. The only things is the monitor and I know you can get one somewhere else. This isin't much but a great computer for a great price, not to mention the warranty. Plus you can always upgrade later, it will save you a lot of money.
