Default 8800GTX overclocking

im about to order my system when i was browsing and saw this

Newegg.com - EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

i was wondering if anyone has any experince in overclocking this card

im guessing that 650-700/1000-1100 would be some numbers you could expect from a gtx..

im planing on using a thermalright HR03 cooler with like a 35cfm fan

ahh well then i would raise those a little. maybe 700-750/1100-1200

yeah the gtx is a great card. i'd probably wait till you get some more information on OC'n a gtx though since i don't own one.

what kind of screen you got?

for the moment im gonna use my 32inch 720p lcd untill i can save up for a 22 or 24 inch 1900x1200 monitor

yea.. i use if for tv and ps3 right now... but compared to what a computer monitor can display it looks like crap
