that g80 is pretty trick looking. The first pictures I have seen it.

Yea, nearly twice the FPS as the X1950 XTX, impressive. How do you think these carsd will affect the 7800, 7900 series cards' prices? Price cut of 50 bucks if we are lucky? Or could it be more than that or am i dreaming to save 50? Looks sweet.

is the g8 better than the 7950 gx2?the g8 only has 784 internal memory??other than the dx10 how muc better is the g8?

Yes the geforce 8800GTX is faster than 7950GX2, but not by a lot.

If you want to buy a new video card then wait for couple of months, because nvidia might release a 8900 series. Also, you need windows vista to take advantage of DX10. So, at least wait for Vista, and then buy G80.

Wait for ATI's R600, unless you really want this card now. If you wait you can see comparison's between the first DX10 cards.

Its about as much faster then the GX2 as it is the x1950xtx. So IMO I think its a good deal faster.
