Default 8800gts question

i was wondering if i upgrade my cpu from an AMD 2.4GHz 3800+ to an AMD Opteron 180 Denmark 2.4GHz Socket 939 Dual Core Processor will that be enough to support a 8800gts? The big question I have is...Do i need to upgrade my motherboard (current specs listed below). Thanks.

Asus A8V-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon 3800+ 2.4GHz
2gb ram ddr 400
650 watt psu

it might be holding it back a little bit but It still should be able to give you nice gaming for a while. Just look to upgrade to something better relatively soon. Also as long as your Mobo can support PCI-E then no you shouldn't need to upgrade.
