Default 8800gts 512mb ddr3 or 9800gtx 512mb ddr3?

which gives the best bang for the buck?

Is the extra cost of the 9800 worth it?

From what I've read the 9800GTX+ (die shrinked version) is quite a bit better. More energy efficient, runs cooler, and is better in SLI and by itself. that's the card I'm saving up for. not sure how much better the 9800 gtx standard is, but itd still be better.

El Loco, price for performance right now I'd say that the 9800gtx is well priced for the upgrade. that's what I'm waiting for too, just hate being poor lol

The ATI HD 4850 is faster than either of those.
