Default 8800GTS 320mb or 640mb?

Is there much of, if any major difference in having double the ram size?

The price is +90$ for the extra ram.

Go with the 320mb version, not worth 90 dollars. But in november G92 is coming out, so prices will drop hopefully.

wow... people don't use the search feature...

anyways we've proven that the 320mb and 640mb are the same, and the extra 320mb vram, gives maybe 2-5 maybe a bit more in FPS

320MB because that extra 640MB won't be so much in a performance increase. Might as well get the 320MB, save some money, and overclock it.

just get 320mb you won't be able to play high res games or high texture memory games anyway. so 320mb is just worth it. i pwn a 320mb one too.
