8800GT worth the upgrade?

Because the graphic cars out now are very powerful...the cpu cant handle it.

a single 8800gt will destroy two 7800gt in sli, look at the 7950gw2 it allready gets killed by a single 8800gt. id say go for the 8800gt, if you can upgrade ur proc to an opteron 165/175/185, depending on which one u can find and do some heavy ocing. with a 8800gt u should score neer the 10k mark in 3dmark 06.

Yeah it will, but he wont get near 10k. I barely get 10k with my card oc'd and my X2 @ 3.1ghz, at 2.2 he'll only get about 7k.

You got a sweet card setup as it is. I'd say your fine. Are there any benchmarks that compare the 7800GT SLI to the single 8800 GT?

Even two oc'd 7950gt's get slaughtered by the 8800gt at stock.

Youre on 939, so there not really any reasonable upgrade. The card would still run games better, i mean 7k in 3mark06 is not bad.....you could still run cod4 maxed out and get over 60fps.
