ya the other 9600gt will be fine for almost any sli supporting game at your res.

You should probably pick up that $60 9600 GT. In all honesty on a 19" monitor a single 9600 GT is more then sufficient. Unless the game in question is Crysis @1440x900.
srry i have dual monitters now and the one i use primarly is
1600byxxxx resolution

so fallout 3 starts to lag sometimes when the card gets heated up

and gta 5 and farcry 2

of course i would get a 4830 or similar but i get great deals on geforce cards

For a resolution of 1680x1050 you should look into the 4850 or the 9800 GTX+.

Either card will handle that resolution well.

ok got it, so get a 9800gtx instead of two 9600gt's
i can probally sell the 9600 gt for 60 and buy a 9800 for like 150 or cheaper

If you have $150 you should get the 4850 instead. Since you its not to dificult to find 4850's hovering around $150.

2 9600gt's would be as fast if not faster in sli than a 9800gtx. but with that bit of info factored in then it's best to get the 9800gtx+

yeah, +1 for the 9800gtx, plus when better games come out, you could still sli to play them at good resolutions, while if you get 2 9600gt's, well you get the idea.
