Default 8800GT vs 8800GTS

8800GT: Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N802-A1 GeForce 8800GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

8800GTS:
Newegg.com - XFX PVT80GGHD4 GeForce 8800GTS XXX 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

----------------

I need help deciding which one to purchase. They both look very similar, I just dont know if I should forgo the GTS for more memory or stick with the GTS ...

Opinions, please?

Go with the GT, as its faster, smaller, and less heat (just a plain better card), but Newegg does not have the best prices for it, as it was seen as low as $207 on other sites, so I'd shop around for better prices since Newegg's prices are still pretty bloated.

if you wait a little longer you will be able to get the new 512MB gts for not much more ...its a bigger card but it runs a bit faster in most benches and should produce less heat because of the bigger cooler, as well as overclock good

here's an article

This is about the lowest price you'll find for it now:

$255 for a 8800gt, thats £124,you guys make me sick. Come over to pom land (uk), and pay £194, $399 for one like I did mine. Grr. You're all lucky.
