US Dollars thats $242

Great for 1280x1024 gamers, just a couple frames lost to the 512mb version and much cheaper.

The prices in UK are usually more expensive than USA

Just compare the price of 8800GT 256MB to HD3870 and 8800GT 512MB

HD3870 cost £150
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

And 8800GT 512MB cost £176
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

You would save a lot of money by getting 8800GT 256MB

very true mate. That is a shockingly good deal for someone here wanting to upgrade with not much money. If they like to play with their rez under 1920x1200 theyre laughing all the way to the bank.

Wow this is a nice price. I believe that AMD will drop the price of their cards to compete, though. Its the only thing they can do really.
