Default 8600GTS vs. HD 3850 (Value NOT Performence)

I know the HD3850 will outperform the 8600gts, but take a look at these prices, tell me if you think is a better bang for your buck. They will both run almost anything i throw at them, and whats the difference between 120fps and 160fps? Hardly noticeable at those levels.
Newegg.com - XFX PVT84GUDD3 GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported XXX HDCP Video Card - Retail
$109 after rebate and include company of heros ^.^
Newegg.com - GECUBE GC-HD3850PG3-D3R Radeon HD 3850 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
$149 after rebate.

The reason im into value, is because im only 15, and I wanna build up my computer for gaming, without having to save up for a **** year for it. Plus, you always need money to buy games to play on them aswell.

I say 3850, it's a way better bang for the buck.

What about the 8600GT that tigerdirect has for $80?

XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card - FREE Company of Heroes PC Game, 256MB DDR3, SLI Ready, PCI Express, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card PVT84JUDD3 at TigerDirect.com

I don't know the difference between the GT and GTS (non-gamer), but it seemed like a good deal to me when I saw in their email.

I just read that email to, thats a good deal, but the GTS will outperform that to some extent, and for 109 for the GTS, thats something i can afford.

Anyone got benchmarks of fps stats of either card?

Edit:
ATI Radeon HD 3870 and 3850 Hands-On - Features at GameSpot
3dmarks HD3850 ~9000, 8600GTS ~6000
Framerates, HD3850 has almost double or atlest got 150% of the 8600gts on many framerates i have found around the net.

Right now im going to say im going with the HD3850, 8600gts only if money is an issue.

Second Edit:
Any cards that will perform between these, that are under $150?

XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card - FREE Company of Heroes PC Game, 256MB DDR3, SLI Ready, PCI Express, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card PVT84JUDD3 at TigerDirect.com

On tigerdirect now, the 3850 is so much better, but with the COH game (which is awesome imo ) would give you more bang for buck

EDIT: XFX GeForce 8800 GT XXX Video Card - FREE Company of Heroes PC Game, 512MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, SLI Ready, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card PVT88PYDD4 at TigerDirect.com

This also comes with company of Heroes, but might be a bit out of price range (but is a good card)

No, the 8600gt and gts is a waste of cash. 3850 hands down.
