Ok. I'm going to have to think on it a bit more before deciding whether I should spend the extra $125 on the 4870

Also, is this a decent enough cpu fan?

I was surprised to find it actually cost way less on directcanada than on newegg.

Not exactly, in most games Quad-Crossfire can't scale if its life depended on it.. either it stays exactly the same, or drops in performance, or a very little FPS increase

but one is the fastest card out right now

ya i kno quad sli is crap from what i hear.
but i meant having two normal 4870's in crossfire not dual 4870x2's

if my psu had more nuts i would probably have already ordered my second 4870. why? i dont know. thank goodness i bought a 550W psu...it saved me from 600.00 videocard madness and a severe beating from my wife.
