I disagree with the Sound Card. The $120 would have been just as good as the $400 one. The Elite is actually for those that do professional sound recording.

Windows XP Pro x64 won't run everything you throw at it, especially games.

What about the Speakers/Headset?

Nice system you got there.

My additions seem to be wrong.

EDITED!

Don't need 4 gigs of RAM, 2 is quite adequet.

That sound card blows for the money, I posted a better one earlier.

Coolmax power supplies suck. with the money he had, he can go OCZ, PC power and cooling or an Antec one, all of which are light years better then coolmax.

Plextor Drivers perform better and last longer then sony, For this amount of money he can go plextor.

For RAM get 4 x OCZ Gold 4000 VX or 4 x Mushkin Redline XP4000.

For the sound card get Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality FPS.

Get a PC Power & Cooling PSU.
