ok psu here are some good brands:
fortron
OCZ
antec
coolermaster
Ram depends on how far your overclocking:
high over clocks the g-skill hz's 2x1gb (black in colour)
average overclocks the g-skill value 2x1gb (I think there red not sure)
motherboard's good makes:
asus the p5b's the p5n's
abit (my personal favourite at the moment the AW9D-max)
gigabyte - ds3
msi - can't think of any off the top of my head
intel - very stable but not the best for overclocking usually I think a good one is the Boxdx2 lol sorry I cant remember the exact name something like that usually about £100
harddrive:
the seagate barracuda is the way to go and the 320gb is the optimum price/gb and price/performance and with a long warranty and it is quite quiet it really is a killer for all other makes.
optical drive needed any will do just use a good major electronics brand like:
sony
lite-on
panasonic
fujitsu
just about any known electronics company and should cost around £20
heat sink fan so you can push that cpu past stock speeds comfortably:
arctic freezer
scythe ninja
zalman 9500/9700
(don't forget thermal paste you will need arctic silver 5 it is the best)
videocard:
maybe you will have enough money left over to buy a 8800gts 320mb which will give you better performance
