800 Gameing Machine.

Well my cousin is selling me his gameing Machine he just built.. he built another one just like it... he already had the case.. and he put 1600 dollars worth of parts in it.. doesnt even have 10 hours on it yet... not quite sure what motherboard on it but its Intel has 250gb HD... 1gig of ram... 256mb nvida Video card.. plays game on high res with no problem... hes giving me a black CRT monitor and everything else with it.. but im gonna buy a 22 inch Flat screan for it. he saleing it to me for about 800... but once again it has all top of the line parts in it... is this a good deal.. sorry i dont know more about the brands of the parts. or could i find a computer much better for the price?
