7950gt, how does is match up

How does the 7950gt match up to other cards in it's price range? Im planning on getting one soon. Im thinking of going with this one' since it's silent. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150189
It's around 300, so what other cards are competing for that price range. I know the x1950 pro is a little cheaper, but it's loosing in all the benchmarks at toms hardware.

Ive got one by Leadtek, brilliant card, it has a fan but i cant hear it, even when running games its not audible at all.

Oh yeah battlefield 2142 on max settings, highest screen resolution with no lagging, woo hoo!
