the 512mb 7900gt has a 1.5v and also it has a all copper heatsink.

XFX 7900 GT for AU$445
spent $0.80 on resistors
buying Zalman VF900 with the blue LED for $58 (I've ordered it now)

anyway, I did the switching frequency mod. it didn't do much, but maybe that's because it's still on stock cooling.

yeah, it is a bit off topic. but I think his question has been adequately answered (to get the 7900 GT)

but the voltmod discussion is still useful info to those getting a 7900 GT (inclusing Travis)

If you mean price maybe, but a x1900xt > 7900gtx? Doubtful. A x1900xt > 7900gt makes more sense unless its the evga 7900gt 512mb, then your wrong.
