Default 7800GT vs 7900GT..? Both 256MB

Right now I have 7800GT..
and I was thinking to sell it.. and get some a bit better.

How much is 7900GT 256MB better then 7800GT?

and what the difference between 7900GT and 7900GS?

i would stick with ur 7800gt for now until dx10 cards come out. which will be soon but only the high end 8800gtx first. if u wait a little longer there will probably be cheaper dx10 cards.

The 7900GT gets 1753 3dmarks06s over the 7800GT's 1302 (Source: TomsHardware).

A 7900GS is the lower end (Used lightly) version of the 7900GT, the only real difference I can see is that it has 4 pixel pipelines turned off.

its not recalled like 1 resistor was the wrong type its hardly going to stop the launch date. And these parts are mainly high end the mid range G80 cards are not going to be out till later so there will only be limited stocks anyway.

the ATI DX10 card will be better, i heard the nvidia g80 is not a true dual core gpu, hold out for ati's R600

dual core?

Its not dual core, your probably talking about the unified shader architecture.
