Default the 7800GS is here!

It's only agp, but it's clocked so freakin high with the memory at 1350ghz on some cards, it only has 16 pipes but it still is the best card for people who still have AGP cause its only in agp.

And why are AGP cards clocked so much higher than PCI-E cards anyway?

They aren't. Its usually the other way around, but its nice to see that AGP still has some life in it.

$300...hopefullt this is just the release price and is not due to it being for AGP. Probably not since most cards out for AGP still have decently competitive prices.

It'll probably drop after the initial month or so. That is the trend I notice. I predict within a month or two a price in the ballpark of 7800GT.

I think it's safe to say that this is going to be the last card coming to the AGP users.
