Default 7800 GTX Baby!!

So for the past few months ive been planin my new machine and such. I was contimplating weather or not to go with 2x6800 in SLI or just go full out and get the 7800GTX.. I found one on 'sale'... but still not sure. the link is http://www.computercentral.ca/home.htm . for the people who cant get it to work the price is $689.99 CDN and its a 'BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express'. Please feel free to debat on the price difference of 2x6800 and a 7800GTX. Although i do believe the 7800 is the better deal at the moment.

Cheers-

7800GTX is still around 2000 points under 6800Ultras...but it'd be cheaper.........buuut yeah, theres some peoples machines hitting 10K+ on 3dmark05 with two 6800Ultra SLI'd the 7800's hit 7500 approx so that's a 2500 point difference we're talking about...I wouldn't exactly say that "7800GTX = 6800Ultras SLI'd"

But it isnt about benchies, its about the gameplay and since alot of games dont support SLI yet then it would be a waste.

And 3dmark series do exceptionally well with SLI'ED cards unlike games.

True, I'm just going by the provided benches and considering it's the same maker of cards that also helps in providing a more accurate assumption of performance regardless of it being fake benches.....

EITHER way....I dislike SLI and the 7xxx series I was disappointed with so my thoughts are 'MEH'
