750i or 780i, which to choose...

I'm getting close to my buy date.. Anyone know when the prices for video cards are going to drop? Sometime in July?..


Anyways..

I'm going to do 8800gt sli and wondering if I should go for the evga 750i FTW board or the xfx 780i board?

I've seen performance from both and the 780i clearly delivers better performance, but I've heard there's bugs or something..

I would get the 750i FTW, it's one of the best 7-series boards out there.

I've got the 750i FTW paired with my 9800gx2 and I have no regrets... OC's my q6600 great and haven't really had any problems yet. With that combo I'm playing Age of Conan with maxed out settings and I'm getting about 48-58 fps at 1920x1200

Yeah, as long as the mobo does what you want it to do, and has all the features that you plan to use, its the best buy. Definitely go with the 750i.
