what a waste of money, 500$ for HDD!!!, what would i waste my money for 750GB HDD, i really don't think i will use more than 10% of it, if i purchase it.
Has anyone even bothered looking at Perpindicular Technology this is the single most usefull thing for laptops with less power consumption and more space.
I totally agree with general. I've got my older PC as a TV capture machine... All of the programs i've captured this weekend were about 97GIG. (All highest quality of course.) but i'm running out of room on in my storage of 750GIG... I only have about 130GIG left.
So a drive like that would be nice to have. (2 seconds slower the the raptor) and 10times the size!!!! Sign me up for a pair of those!!!
Hehe.....the huge server HD's are finally showing up for the consumer. These huge drives have been around for a while but in SCSI format. Try 1 terabyte HD's from Western Digital for $1200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Holy Crap Batman!!! http://www.cooltechzone.com/reviews/drives/hddnewsstory_001.php
